Although Mount Abu is well known for nature, wildlife (such as sloth bears) and multi-day mountain treks. The fact is, that a lot of the hotels in the main town are quite uninspiring and certainly do not reflect a stay in harmony with nature. This was one of the reasons that the Forest Eco-Resort caught my eye and we decided to stay here. The welcome from Malah and her parents was warm and genuine; although one of her dogs was a little lively, even for a dog lover like me. The design style is mixed and evolving, but the main aim is to maximise the enjoyment of the stunning views and enjoy a ‘retreat’ from the busy towns of Rajasthan. ABOUT HOTEL
We have created a homestay style property high in the hills in Mount Abu, where the focus is escape from the city, enjoy the stunning views and dine on home cooked vegetarian foods. We are still developing our small Rajasthan homestay and have recently added wooden cottage built into the side of the hill, with stunning open views of forested hills.
